I design how people talk to AI
from across the room,
on every screen in their home.
At Amazon, I shape Alexa+ experiences across Fire TV and Echo,
and led the design of Echo Hub.

Not availableHi, I’m Darae.
I was born on Jeju Island in Korea, the same island where the characters of When Life Gives You Tangerines grew up. I love fashion and animals, especially cats and dogs, and I am endlessly curious about AI.
That curiosity comes with one rule. However smart AI gets, it only matters when people understand what it can do for them. So I design with people first and the technology second, whether someone is talking to Alexa from across the room or picking up a conversation on their TV.
